Isobel at 3yrs & 5mths

A lot of the time she’s a bright intelligent joy who greatly benefits from having an older sibling, especially a sister. She loves songs, singing & dancing and although we can’t hear much of a voice at present, she has got some serious moves in her locker already!

She’s always taking in as much as she can. Watching TV or a DVD, the concentration on her face is inspiring. Caught her mouth agape for an entire ‘Simpsons’ episode the other day, silent, apart from a couple of bursts laughter! I wonder what she sees!! Watching her in the car, she stares out of the window, looking around, takes in all in… “spongebelle boys pants”.

Now, having said all that, she can moan for England. She can turn the taps on ….. at well, the turning on of a tap. In her defence its because she’s tired sometimes and as she has now given up her afternoon nap coupled with the fact that the Christmas fairies have flown away with her dummies, she is more irritable/irritating more of the time. But she does use her “moaning arsenal” at will, to great, or dire, affect.

Food wise she is pretty good for her age, mostly she’ll eat everything on her plate, including the veg. In fact put carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumber in front of her it disappears. She loves cream cheese on crackers at the moment. Then other times, “just toast”….  “Please” (as we are trying to make her say!)
